Tech Re-Use Program

Give Used Technology A New Life.

The U.S. generated 6.92 million tons of e-waste in 2019. Most of this waste is broken or unwanted technology which can no longer serve a purpose. However, a good portion of e-waste is composed of items that are out of warranty or a previous generation that’s been replaced by the latest and greatest. Many of these items are still functional and can still be used.

Our mission is to intercept these still usable pieces of technology and get them into the hands of those that can use it. The beneficiaries from these items can be individuals who may be less fortunate or may not have the means to afford their own or other nonprofit organizations that are serving the community and may have limited resources which limit them from purchasing new hardware devices.

Donate Your Hardware

Donate your unneeded / out of warranty devices to us, and we’ll make sure they make it into the hands of those that can use them. Any devices that are cannot be reused will be properly recycled. At this time, we cannot accept any printers, televisions, or computer monitors (unless it is a widescreen monitor).

Concerned about information still stored on your old devices? We take data security very seriously. All devices we received are securely erased until its data is permanently removed. If data cannot be securely removed from a device, the data storage drive is removed and physically destroyed.

Donors will receive a receipt of donation for their tax records. Save the Machine, Inc is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

We do sell hardware devices to supplement the overhead cost of logistics for storing and refurbishing these systems. We’re in the process of setting up an online marketplace to display our inventory. In the mean time, please use the contact form at the bottom of this page.
